Thom has over 30 years of experience in global commodity and derivative markets, including product creation, trading, clearing, and regulatory licensing. He has led major exchange launches across Asia and previously served as CEO of the Singapore Mercantile Exchange, President of the Hong Kong Mercantile Exchange, and VP/Director at NYMEX.

Margot is a 25+ year capital markets professional with global investment expertise. She has held senior roles at TD Asset Management, Marret Asset Management, and CPP Investment Board. An active Independent Director, she serves on boards and chairs key committees. She holds a BA from McGill, an MBA from Ivey, and is a CFA charterholder.

Mrs. Flax is a former Wall Street executive and FinTech leader, having served as Managing Director at BNP Paribas and Chief Marketing Officer at J.P. Morgan. She has advised and led boards for companies including Digital Asset Holdings and SIFMA, and is currently CEO of Pefin.

Jeff is currently the Chief Strategy Officer of Energy Pathways at The Carlyle Group. He is the former Global Head of Commodities Research in the Global Investment Research Division at Goldman Sachs. He taught economics at the University of Chicago, where he earned his PhD, and has advised governments across North America and Eurasia. He currently chairs the EPIC Advisory Group at the University of Chicago.

Cyrus is Managing Director and Senior Coverage Officer at M. Klein & Company, with 15+ years in investment banking across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. He previously worked at Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, and TD Securities, advising on deals including the Saudi Aramco IPO and Barrick-Randgold merger. He holds several degrees including CFA and FRM designations.

Scott is Chairman, CEO, and controlling shareholder of Takota Asset Management. He previously co-founded and led Aquilon Capital, achieving an average annual return of ~20% over 18 years. He has founded seven private companies and served on public and private boards, including as Audit Committee Chair for Acerus Pharmaceuticals. He is a CFA charterholder.

Josh is the Founder and CEO of Abaxx Technologies and Abaxx Exchange, and a co-founder of Goldmoney where he served as CSO and CFO. He previously worked at Goldman Sachs as Senior Metals Strategist and held roles with the Lundin Group and Coffee Flour. He holds graduate degrees in Mineral Economics and International Political Economy, and an engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines.

With over 20 years' experience leading finance teams in complex global organizations, Steve holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Manchester and is a CPA (CGA) and Fellow of the ACCA (UK).

Senior legal and capital markets professional called to the Bar in the UK and Canada, Jeff also holds an MBA and CFA. His background spans regulatory roles with the Ontario Securities Commission and Toronto Stock Exchange, senior legal practice, investment and merchant banking, and portfolio management, with additional expertise in intellectual property and technology.

Until 2017, David was a Portfolio Strategist at Bridgewater Associates, advising leading institutional investors. He previously served as Chief Commodities Strategist and Head of Energy Research at Goldman Sachs, and holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago. He also hosts Abaxx's SmarterMarkets™ podcast.

Taf has over 15 years of experience in corporate finance, assurance, and operations across technology and traditional sectors. He most recently served as an SVP at KPMG Corporate Finance, leading the TMT practice in Vancouver, and previously worked in private equity at an infrastructure-focused family office. He is a CPA and CFA Charterholder.

A licensed attorney, Michelle is a unique visionary having led security and privacy initiatives, ranging from regulatory compliance, privacy engineering, advocacy and education efforts, and litigation at companies including Cisco, McAfee/Intel Security, Oracle, and Sun Microsystems. She is co-author of The Privacy Engineer's Manifesto, a podcaster, board member, and strategic advisor to companies and NGOs.
